Process and Runbook automation within the Healthcare industry

ConfigureTek was invited to review and attempt to improve the current manual and time intensive procedures at a large healthcare organization. The project involved review of not only the manual procedures in place but also the large volume of events and incidents that over time became overwhelming for a relatively small team of operators. In working with the ConfigureTek team, the organization agreed to implement a process automation and auto remediation solution by utilizing ConfigureTek’s expertise and HP Software’s Business Service Automation products such as HP Operations Orchestration and HP Server Automation.

Auto Discovery project for streamlining the company’s merger & acquisition

Following a game-changing merger in the aviation industry, one of the world’s largest airlines faced the challenge of aligning systems across two initially disparate environments. Maintaining high availability and performance was critical while bringing together many moving parts in a business where technical glitches have the potential to impact millions of customers.

Custom ServiceNow Integration

Recently, the ConfigureTek team worked with IT Services team of a large Woodlands-based petroleum company tasked with the challenge of managing IT operations across the globe. The client had implemented the ServiceNow Service Desk and sought a solution for empowering it with auto-discovered application infrastructure and dependencies. ConfigureTek completed the project in 10 weeks. Working closely with the customer, the ConfigureTek team deployed the HP UCMDB and performed a custom integration between UCMDB and the ServiceNow Service Desk. The task included activating discovery across the IT environment, creating 10 application maps based on auto-discovered information, and implementing a live integration to push this data over to the service desk. ConfigureTek delivered a quick-start solution that was aligned to the client’s needs of flexibility and efficiency.
